What is Salesforce Sales Cloud?

Salesforce Sales Cloud is a cloud-based CRM and marketing automation suite that runs on Amazon Web Services (AWS) with the goal of giving you the power of a stand-alone CRM and sales automation tool. While it's no longer a stand-alone solution, Salesforce Sales Cloud has the same database functionality as a standalone product. It is ideal for use cases that need more than the capabilities of a traditional CRM, such as data mining, relationship mapping, multi-channel marketing, lead scoring, and follow-up. In many ways, a Salesforce Sales Cloud implementation is identical to any other Salesforce product. Before you even begin implementing Sales Cloud, there are a few things you need to consider. Download the Salesforce account tool from your dashboard. In order to complete any Salesforce-related Sales Cloud projects, you need an account. Enter your Salesforce login credentials when prompted. Read the following setup steps in order: Install and Configure the service (using the installation and configuring service link). Once complete, configure the Account settings: Go to Settings and then click the Account link at the top right-hand corner of the screen. Click Account Settings. Go to the Personal Profile and select "New Configuration.

Log In To Salesforce Sales Cloud The first step to getting Salesforce Sales Cloud configured is logging into Salesforce with your credentials. Log in to and create a login/password. This will allow you to log into the Salesforce site and begin configuring the company’s Salesforce instance. 2. Register & Configure Servers Next, we will need to configure the servers that the company’s Salesforce Sales Cloud will utilize. This will allow us to connect the company’s Salesforce account to the Salesforce system. First, log in to the Settings Dashboard. Next, on the left-hand side, click on the Account heading to login to the company’s Salesforce instance. The next step is to locate the Servers heading.
